Missionary Highlight: Giovanny & Carolina Valdez

SCORE Family,

At the age of 29, God placed a deep passion in my heart for ministry, service, and the Great Commission. After many years of playing basketball, the Lord called me to lay down the sport I loved to follow Him into full-time missions. That step of obedience changed the entire course of my life.

For the past twenty-two years, I have had the privilege of serving as a missionary with SCORE, and without a doubt, they have been the best years God has given me. Every season has taught me to trust Him more and to walk by faith as He opens new doors for ministry.

Throughout these years, we have witnessed the Lord work in amazing ways. Countless individuals have heard the Gospel, and many have received Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Even more beautiful is seeing lives transformed. Men and women now serving Jesus, discipling others, and impacting their communities for His glory.

It has been a constant reminder that the harvest truly is plentiful and that God is still in the business of changing lives.

As we continue in ministry, we would greatly appreciate your prayers. Please pray for our two boys who are currently in college, that the Lord would use them in a mighty way and surround them with His protection. Pray also for our family as a whole, that we would keep our priorities in place: God first, then family, then ministry/work. We also ask for prayer for our monthly support, that God would continue to provide faithfully as He always has. Please pray for our country and its authorities, that the Lord would guide them with wisdom and righteousness.

Finally, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported and prayed for our family throughout the years. Your partnership has made it possible for us to continue serving, loving, and reaching others with the Gospel.
