Ministry in Hildale centers on building bridges of hope, healing, and restoration in a community with a complex and deeply rooted history. Teams serve through a variety of hands-on outreach efforts—supporting local schools, preparing and distributing food, working on construction and cleanup projects, and leading youth activities like sports clinics, craft camps, and Bible clubs. Whether it’s helping at the thrift store, hosting a party at the park, or partnering with a local youth center, every effort is an opportunity to share Christ’s love and meet tangible needs.
Nestled in the red rock canyons of southern Utah, Hildale is a small town with a big story. Once known as the heart of the Short Creek Community, Hildale has deep ties to the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS), a group that broke away from the mainstream LDS church over a century ago. While its past is marked by isolation and controversy, today Hildale is a place of new beginnings. God is stirring hearts, breaking down barriers, and opening doors for transformation. The people here are resilient and rooted—and the need for grace, truth, and hope is great. Come be part of what God is rebuilding in Hildale.
