These last few months have been very eventful and very fruitful. I am very grateful for all the new opportunities the Lord presented me with, such as food distribution in villages near the Haiti border as well as translation for a team that got to visit the New York Yankees Academy. I was also blessed with more opportunities to preach the gospel in my local church, which I enjoy greatly. Overall, it has been a very busy but wonderful few months.
More than this, I am grateful for the opportunity to live here in the Dominican Republic serving the Lord and serving the people here. God has been very gracious to me, and has taught me many things in my time here. He has opened the doors for a lot of growth in His kingdom and has blessed me with the opportunity to be used by Him in the form of teaching youth about the Bible and what it means to follow Jesus Christ. I have also been able to work with a lot of amazing teams that travel here for short-term mission trips. I have had the privilege of meeting a lot of new people and I am honored that I was able to work with them and learn from them while they were here.
The Lord has really opened my eyes to what ministry really is here and He has taught me a lot of things I never knew about what it means to follow Him. I am also very grateful for the possibility of new opportunities this year as I have the honor of continuing to live and do ministry here in the Dominican Republic. I believe the Lord is going to do wonderful things through the ministry He is allowing me to be a part of.
Prayer is the most powerful tool within ministry, so I will appreciate all of your prayers as I continue on this journey with the Lord.
