Ryan & Megan Hansen
Based in Honduras – Field Director of Central and South America
Ryan grew up in Elkhart, Indiana and was saved at the age of 17. He recognized his call to missions shortly after. He received his Biblical education from Word of Life Bible Institute in both New York and Argentina. Megan grew up in Fayette, OH and was saved at the age of 14 at a Christian camp. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and also graduated from Word of Life’s Bilingual Bible Institute in Argentina. The Hansen’s were married on February 3, 2007 and have three children, Lia Grace Hansen was born on December 2, 2010, Andru James Hansen was born on May 16, 2013 and Sofia Faith Hansen Born on Jan. 25, 2015 in Honduras. Their sending church is First Baptist Church Elkhart, Indiana.
The Lord allowed us to serve together in the Dominican Republic with SCORE since 2008 (Ryan as a single missionary since 2002). We moved to Honduras in July 2014 where we are assisting in church planing and church mobilization. We have a strategic ministry partnership with Iglesia Bautista Renacer (Born Again Baptist Church) in San Pedro Sula. It is our desire to help train pastors and lay leaders with little resources, to disciple and to mobilize the local church to do the work of evangelism in Honduras and all over Central America.
