Since Robersy and Sarah partnered with SCORE International in April 2013, life looks radically different. For years they poured their lives into baseball ministry and the Lily House, but as ministry grew there became a need for a Youth Pastor in their local church (Iglesia Bautista Misionera de Juan Dolio). From there Robersy and Sarah faced years of changes in life and ministry until current day where God has led them to not only serve IN local church ministry but to LEAD a local church. This was never on the radar for either Robersy or Sarah but the call was clear and the transition was seamless as God led Robersy from the Youth Pastor role to Lead Pastor and moved Sarah from the Lily House to serve alongside her husband, but more specifically serving their women and young ladies. Not only is Robersy pastoring the church in Juan Dolio, but he is currently the Interim Pastor at the churches in Los Fundos and Paloma. Though they are praying for the Lord to provide someone to fill those positions, they are walking in obedience to what the Lord has called them to do.

Though much joy comes in serving, Robersy and Sarah´s greatest joys are their 3 children, Josiah (6), Adelyne (4) and Isaac (2). You’ll often find the kids covered in dirt and bruises from their rambunctious and free-spirited lifestyle. They find an adventure wherever they go, so whether it’s running through the sugarcane fields of Los Fundos, racing scooters with the children on the quiet streets in Juan Dolio or climbing coconut trees in their backyard… there is never a dull moment with the Lara family.

Through the ups and downs a verse that continues to encourage them in the Lord’s work is 1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
