Chris Gaither

Since his first mission trip to the Dominican Republic with his parents as a sixteen year old, Chris has always had a love for missions.  Chris and his wife, Shan are the proud parents of Mary Elizabeth, Caleb and Hannah.

Since graduating from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in the mid-90’s, Chris has served the church in various roles and locations around the Southeastern part of the United States, to include student ministry, worship ministry and most recently as senior pastor.  Throughout the years however, missions has played a vital role.  With short-term teams, Chris has had the pleasure of serving in South Africa, Thailand, India, Spain, Italy, Nicaragua, The Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Peru and as a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, in Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

God’s provision made it possible for Chris to go back to school and earn an additional degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary during a season of his life when God was solidifying a marriage of passions for the church, the expository preaching of His Word, discipleship and missions.
