Catherine Ogle
Dominican Republic
Catherine had the privilege of being born and raised in a Christian home in Upper East Tennessee in the Tri-Cities area. She accepted Jesus Christ as Savior at the age of 7, and fully surrendered and made Him Lord of her life at the age of 10.
Throughout her elementary and middle school years, she heard about missions countless times, attended mission conferences at her church, and knew she wanted to be a missionary someday in some way.
In the summer of 2009, she went on her first mission trip to the Dominican Republic, where she not only fell in love with the people but had a calling from the Lord to full-time missions, and realized upon returning to the States that the Dominican Republic was truly home.
She moved with her family to the Dominican Republic in January of 2013, at the age of 15.
Catherine is still serving in full-time ministry in the Dominican Republic. A few of her main ministries include:
* translating and working alongside mission teams
* teaching trade skills and discipling young women in God’s word
* serving in San Pedro in a local church in the youth group and worship ministry.
She has a love and passion to not just reach the lost and share the love of Jesus with them, but to disciple and see them continue to grow in their relationship with the Lord and in their love for Him.
“It has been a joy to see and experience firsthand, lives transformed by Jesus and continuous growth in Him, personally and in the lives of not only Nationals but Americans as well. He is ever faithful to provide the strength, grace, and all needed for each day!
I am able to continue in ministries and remain on the field through faith-based support. I would love for you to consider joining alongside me in His work, not only through financial support, but through encouragement and most importantly, prayer.”
