Discipleship

At SCORE International, we believe we are called to obey the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations. To be a disciple is to follow Christ and encourage others to do the same. We follow this commission by leading our missionaries and ministry partners to be disciplemakers in their local communities, and to partner with us as hosts for short-term teams. SCORE wishes to provide our missionaries and local partners with education and resources to be equipped disciplemakers. Our missionaries are taught effective ministry practices to engage their communities, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and teach new believers to ‘observe all things’ that Christ has commanded us and share them with others. The end result is spiritual maturity, disciples making disciples, healthier churches, and new churches planted. Our short-term mission teams also obey the Great Commission by assisting our missionaries in their daily ministries, as well as outreach endeavors that can ‘cast a wider net’ for our missionaries when they minister to their communities.
