Yubelkis is the oldest of 4 children who came to live at Josiah’s House after their mother became ill and passed away. Yubelkis helped to care of her siblings when her mother was ill and endured many difficult things. She now lives on the Hope Continues Campus for young adults. Yubelkis is a little bit shy, but she is beautiful, has a contagious smile and tender heart. We have seen the Lord transform her and she has bloomed like a beautiful flower! Yubelkis is attending a local adult school to finish her High School education and works part time at Josiah’s House and two other ministries with hospitality and housekeeping. She is a leader at YWAM Niko camps throughout the year and has learned to use her voice to help others and refine her leadership skills. Her dream is to be a Flight Attendant and work traveling the world!
The Josiah’s House Hope Continues program supports young men and women 18 years old and older. The program helps them with basic living expenses as well as keeps spiritual and emotional support in place while they finish high school. It also hopes to help them seek scholarships, jobs, and financial aid so they can further their education in a university or technical college if they desire.
