Yerissel lives with her parents and younger siblings. She is described as being kind, friendly and very fun. She enjoys cooking, painting, and listening to music. She hopes to be a doctor one day so she can help save lives. Yerissel recently graduated from the elementary Bible program and is continuing in La Represa’s Sembrando Esperanza program.
The Sembrando Esperanza (“Sowing Hope”) program supports high school and college-aged students. The program provides high schoolers with weekly in-depth Bible studies, career preparations, and leadership and service opportunities for the high school students who participate. As a student continues in the program through further education (such as college, trade school, approved courses, etc.), they will have greater leadership responsibilities within the program and funds to help them continue their education. This program is open to La Represa’s Bible program graduates and also other high school students that want to be involved and apply.
