Teo

Teo grew up in Josiah’s House after we found him in a local Village with no family and no place to live. He he was hungry, dirty and being mistreated by some of the children. He now lives on the Hope Continues Campus with his foster parents Delores and Cecilio. Teo will always be with us because he is deaf, mute and is on the autism spectrum which made it even more difficult for him to survive on his own. Teo takes a lot of pride working in the grounds area at Josiah’s House helping to keep the yard clean and opening the gate. He earns a little spending money to buy treats. Teo loves to play soccer and can make a kite out of almost anything! He is happy, content, and healthy. He loves worship, and dancing! Teo has taught us so much since he arrived. We are better for it!

The Josiah’s House Hope Continues program supports young men and women 18 years old and older. The program helps them with basic living expenses as well as keeps spiritual and emotional support in place while they finish high school. It also hopes to help them seek scholarships, jobs, and financial aid so they can further their education in a university or technical college if they desire.
