What personal data we collect and why we collect it
The Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information
As used in SCORE’s Privacy Statement, the phrase “personally identifiable information” is personal information that identifies a specific natural person and means: (a) a first and last name; (b) an address, including a street name, city or town, and zip code (but excluding a post office box); (c) an e-mail address; (d) a telephone number; and/or, (e) an account number or credit card number (including but not limited to, banking account and routing numbers). In SCORE’s Privacy Statement, the phrase “personally identifiable information” is abbreviated as “PII”.
SCORE is the owner of all PII that is collected by SCORE on SCORE’s website. SCORE may collect PII from users, customers, and in responses to online surveys and group discussions at several different points on SCORE’s website.
SCORE will not sell or rent PII to other organizations in ways that are different from what is disclosed in this Privacy Statement.
SCORE may use PII to contact the user about SCORE, the goods and services available on SCORE’s website, and to provide information about other topics and discussion groups.
SCORE may disclose PII to third parties as required or permitted by law.
SCORE may share aggregate demographic information that does not contain PII.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
SCORE’s website uses IP addresses to help SCORE analyze trends, administer SCORE’s website, track user movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses do not contain PII.
Who we share your data with
Designated contributions to the support of SCORE’s ministries are greatly appreciated and a receipt will be issued for all deductible gifts for tax purposes. However, if a particular need is over-subscribed (over-funded), our solicitations for that need will be discontinued, and otherwise designated funds may, at the discretion and direction of the Board of Directors and Leadership Team, be redirected and applied to cover similar projects that are still under-funded, and then to broader projects or needs that fall within the mission and ministry purposes of SCORE International.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
We retain your donation information and trip registration indefinitely on our secure server. If we ever seen fit to delete any information it will be done through a secure process.
What rights you have over your data
SCORE International retains the right to the data that has been submitted to our website. If at any point you no longer want us to store any of your information, you may request that it be deleted through our server.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
