Kyle and Shannon walked in obedience to God as He set a passion in their hearts to serve Him as full-time missionaries. Kyle and Shannon were both born and grew up in the state of Louisiana. They were college sweethearts who got married in 1989, and soon after, surrendered their hearts to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Kyle obtained a Doctorate degree in Pharmacy, and Shannon obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Marketing. After many years of marriage and corporate life, Kyle and Shannon welcomed their three sons into the mix of life, Kyle Jr (KJ), Kameron and Kase. The priority was to grow the family in Christ and to keep all eyes on Jesus as Kyle worked in corporate America, and as Shannon homeschooled the kids. Life was just a “normal life.”
Needless to say, God shook things up and did some pruning and growing in Kyle and Shannon’s hearts and lives. Slowly, “normal life” was not so “normal” anymore. And, the most amazing thing was that the family remained full of peace and joy. God is good!! The desire and passion to serve the Lord on the mission field grew more intensely. And, God continued to open every door to make missionary service a reality for Kyle, Shannon and sons…all for His Glory!!
