Frank was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC and is the oldest of three sons. While he was in high school the family moved to Rocky Mount, NC and began attending Englewood Baptist Church. It was on an Englewood youth group trip that Frank met his future wife Sharon. He graduated from Chowan College with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and from East Carolina University with an MBA. Frank served 6 years in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and spent 10 years in the hotel management industry in various roles. At the age of 25, he accepted Christ as Lord and savior and lives each day under His Grace.
Sharon was born and raised in North Carolina. At the age of 12 she gave her life to Christ. On a mission trip during her sophomore year in college she sensed God’s call to missions; little did she know what God had in store! She is a UNC Chapel Hill graduate with a degree in Communication Studies. Frank and Sharon were married in 2001 and knew early in their marriage that God was calling them into the ministry.
In 2007 God called Frank and Sharon into full time missions as the directors of Youth On Mission and moved back to Rocky Mount, NC. After several years as partner ministries, Youth On Mission merged with SCORE International to become SCORE Domestic in 2012. Frank serves on the SCORE International Leadership team and is Director of SCORE Domestic. Sharon leads the Appalachia mission ministry for SCORE Domestic. They have one son, Will Franklin.
